About Us

Built from decades of work with children, families, and schools.

Parent World – Confident Together brings experienced educators together around one practical goal: help parents feel less uncertain about academic and developmental progress—and more confident about what they can do next.

Our background

Education experience across ages, settings, and systems

Our perspective reflects more than 30 years of educational experience, including educators with master’s-level preparation in Special Education and state educator certification across multiple states.

That work has included elementary, middle, and high school students; families; safe-place and youth-support settings; after-school programs; summer camps and academies; teen workshops; IEP case management; and collaboration with parents, counselors, teachers, school leaders, and district personnel.

Our founder

Why Parent World was created

The Founder’s experience as an educator and teacher leader repeatedly surfaced the same parent concern: “How do I know whether my child is on track, what can I actually do at home, and when should I ask for more help?”

Parent World was created to reduce that uncertainty. Instead of giving families more jargon or more pressure, it organizes developmental and academic support into understandable stages, small home actions, progress markers, and clear help-seeking points.

Who this is for

Parents who want to be proactive—not panicked.

Understand

Know what a skill means and why it matters.

Support

Use realistic home activities that complement school and development.

Observe

Watch for meaningful progress rather than chasing perfection.

Partner

Know what to ask teachers, pediatric professionals, counselors, or other support teams.

Important boundary: Parent World is educational guidance. It does not diagnose children, replace medical or psychological evaluation, or substitute for individualized school services.

Our promise

Clear enough to use on a busy Tuesday.

We believe good parent resources should respect family time, preserve the child’s relationship with the parent, and make the next step easier to see.
